Chinese Teens Are Most Happy While Surfing The Internet

Recent surveys show that the Chinese teens are really happy when spending time on the internet and surfing it. Part of this is because they can spend time with their friends and family plus learn a lot of things that they might not learn in school.

A poll was conducted by the Shanghai Teenage Research Center with about 2,425 teens from high school to elementary school. They like to explore the world and the ones doing so are usually born around 1990 to 1999. Shanghai teens feel that many do not understand them and that society does not understand them.

Another survey was conducted for the older generation and the response was very much the same because it helps them cope with the way society is changing and they are able to research and stay up to date with things while being online.

Huang Hongji who is a professor at the Shanghai Teenage Research Center feels that teenagers should get special attention with emotional fluctuations and that it is vital that they do and that not enough focus is on that. Most of the young people feel that the study is not completely accurate but it is very close to what is going on.
